The groups who drank the vinegar consumed fewer calories which could have been due to vinegars effect on decreasing appetite.

You would simply make this simple recipe just like you would regular white potatoes. Once they have boiled, you simply add butter, up to one stick and mash with a potato masher.

You might be surprised I added butter to the mixture, and there is a very good reason for doing so. Butter can and will help you lose weight, when combined with other foods, such as sweet potatoes. Many people are so convinced that calorie counting and other similar diets are whats needed to lose those extra pounds, that they do not believe eating a healthy diet with foods that can aid weight loss. If you have tried diets such as these without any beneficial effects, then it's time for a simple diet change.

There are many more sweet potato diet recipes, and I want to share another one of my favorites with you. Have you ever tried baked sweet potato wedges? It's another simple way of making this super food, even more delicious. Heat your oven to 420°f or 220°c. Wash and scrub around 4 to 5 potatoes, and slice them into wedges. Spread them on an oven baking tray, and spray them with low-fat cooking spray, or use olive oil. Bake them in the oven for around 12 minutes, and then turn them over and bake for another 12 minutes.

Depending on how thick your wedges are cut, you might need another couple of minutes added to the cooking time.

As you can see, these sweet potato diet recipes are very easy to prepare, and can be cooked within 30 minutes. All of my family love these healthy and fat fighting foods, and you will too. Losing weight does not have to be difficult, you just have to go back to basics. There are many foods that make people fat, and many that help them lose weight, it's just finding which foods are doing this to you.

Specifically, they said this diet can help you to reduce the most stubborn fat on your body - the belly fat. There are also other claims including: lose up to 15 lbs in 32 days, trim up to 12 inches of fat, look and feel sexy. Now the question is, does MUFA Flat Belly Diet really work, or it's just another weight loss gimmick?

The concept of MUFA Flat Belly Diet is pretty simple: consume 4 400 calories meal per day, that's about 1600 calories intake daily. Each meal should consist of Mufa foods, and other health foods including whole grains, fruits and vegetables. In case you are wondering, MUFA is actually Monounsaturated Fatty Acids. According to some research, MUFA can help you to lose weight especially in the middle. Foods that contain MUFA include olive oil, sunflower oil, flax oil, avocado, nuts and seeds.

Sorry to disappoint you, but MUFA flat belly diet is hardly a new breakthrough in weight loss. In fact, I suspect that it's design to slim down your bank account instead of belly fat. Here's why:
  1. The diet is unhealthy: MUFA Flat Belly Diet plan is too low in calories. It's not feasible in the long run. In addition, low calories intake will force your body to enter starvation mode which make you difficult to lose weight. In addition, if you manage to lose weight, it should be the direct results of low calories intake. Think about it, if you shift from 2000-3000 calories intake per day to less than 1600 per day, how can you not lose weight? In addition, any low calories diet tends to make you hungry. You need extreme will power to beat those hunger and cravings. What's worse, if you resume your normal meals, you may stop losing weight or gain back the weight!
  2. Lacks flexibility: You have to count calories for each meal and also include at least one MUFA food. How do you think you can manage if you lead a busy life? Of course, there's a solution for those of you who have deep pocket. There's an online Flat Belly Diet program that cost around $15 per month to join.
  3. In the cover of the book, they mentioned you don't need to exercise ("not a single crunch required"). However, there's a chapter in the book that devote to exercise and they said it's "optional". In my opinion, it's an outrageous claim. All health experts and doctors would definitely emphasize incorporating regular exercise into your diet plan.
In a nutshell, MUFA Flat Belly Diet is not recommended.
